Abstraction > Nunavut Sunrise

This series is based on a view from an airplane window of the sunrise over Nunavut, northern Canada. I was drawn to the colors changing by the second and the idea of crossing the northernmost part of the globe and watching the sun quickly set and rise again. I boarded a plane in the morning and landed at my destination in the morning. Watching the sun set and rise, I was watching an entire night's worth of time condensed into thirty minutes.
