Alexandra Bailliere works in painting, sculpture and installation. Bailliere earned her MFA from Mills College in Oakland, California and her BA cum laude in French with coursework in visual art and art history from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Since 2006, her work has been shown in the Bay Area in places such as the Sanchez Art Center, Root Division in San Francisco and the Berkeley Art Center. In May, 2016, Bailliere was named as a finalist for a graduate fellowship at the Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, California. She works in her studio at the O'Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley and teaches painting and mixed media classes at College of Marin, City College San Francisco (Fort Mason campus), and the O'Hanlon Center for the Arts.
